Born 1951 in Appledore to a local mother (Appledore) and father (Bideford) and attended the primary school there.
Passed my eleven plus in Germany and then attended the forces boarding school, as my father was still in the RAF at the time.
Returned to UK and finished education at Grammar School before getting a Technical Draughting Apprenticeship at the Shipyard.
Worked there throughout my life with several different job titles within the organisation until retirement in 2016 as the main estimator.
Had many sporting outlets during this time, rugby, football, rowing and now finally golf.
Married with 2-grown up boys and now concentrating on the 3-grandchildren, all of which live locally.
Still find this place and the friendship it brings a wonderful part of the world.
